Sample Retention to 30 Years. 6753 pregnant women were recruited into the study at their first obstetrical visit (1981–3). These women and their children were followed-up five years after the birth (1986–88), and the mothers were also follow-up 27 years after the birth (2008–11) and the offspring, 30 years after the birth (2010–14). The CIDI was administered to mothers at the 27-year follow-up and to daughters at the 30-year follow-up
