Study design

Any study design for primary research that included information relating to the acceptability and/or feasibility of a community-based psychosocial intervention for people with schizophrenia and/or their families and caregivers.

 

Study population

General adult population.

Interventions for children and adolescents (< 18 years).

Study conducted in LMIC as defined by the World Bank at time of study.

Study conducted in HIC.

Condition of interest

Schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder only.

Other mental disorders (depression, substance abuse, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder). Epilepsy, other types of disability. Brief psychotic disorders.

Intervention

Any community-based psychosocial intervention delivered to people with schizophrenia or their caregivers.

Pharmacological interventions

Interventions for hospital in-patients.

Outcome

Any quantitative or qualitative measure from service users or care givers showing acceptability and/or feasibility of the psychosocial interventions.

Effectiveness data, when not accompanied by data on acceptability and feasibility.
