  1. DUP= duration of untreated psychosis (from first episode to date of entry to PEPP); DUI=duration of untreated illness; SANS= Scale for the Assessment of Negative Symptoms; SAPS= Scale for the Assessment of Positive Symptoms; SOFAS = Social and Occupational.
  2. a Hollingshead Parental Socio-Economic Status, in which 1 = highest and 5 = lowest.
  3. b Analyses were made with transformed data but values are presented in raw form.
  4. Note: Secondary negative symptoms were removed from analyses.
